Hi, I’m Leandra Kate — your Life & Death Concierge.
Yes, that’s really what I call myself! Because my work isn’t just about selling insurance or funeral plans — it’s about walking with people through the hardest (and often weirdest) things we never want to talk about: death, legacy, grief, and the logistics that tie them all together.
I’ve sat with hundreds of families in their hardest hours. Again and again, I saw the same truth: a little planning changes everything. It spares your loved ones from stress, fights, and financial burdens — and it frees you to live with more peace right now.
I believe in…
- Compassion + blunt truth. I won’t sugarcoat death — but I also won’t let you walk through it alone.
- Clarity over confusion. Paperwork, policies, and “fine print” don’t scare me — I translate it into simple, human language.
- Legacy that lasts. Your story matters. I help you capture it so it won’t get lost.
What I do:
- Help families secure life insurance that actually fits their needs and budget.
- Set up funeral plans that are guaranteed and honest (and review existing ones to protect you from fine print).
- Guide families in choosing dignified resting places — from cemeteries to In-Ground Niches to creative home memorials.
- Offer legacy crafting, grief resources, and eulogy writing/speaking — because paperwork alone doesn’t honor a life.
- When I can, I even show up at the threshold — sitting bedside, holding hands, or simply being present so no one feels alone.
This work is personal to me. I’ve written and given eulogies for my own family. I’ve felt the relief of plans being buttoned up — and the chaos when they weren’t. I know firsthand that planning ahead is a gift of love.
So yes, I’m the one who will talk about death at the dinner table. I’ll laugh with you, cry with you, and tell you the truth no one else will say out loud. And when it’s all said and done, you’ll feel lighter — like an invisible weight was lifted.
Because at the end of the day, death isn’t just about endings. It’s about making sure the life you’ve lived — and the people you love — are cared for.
I can’t wait to help you in your journey!
Much Love & Aloha,

Leandra Kate Whiting
